RETURNS POLICY FOR EXCHANGES, STORE CREDIT, AND REFUNDS
At Proper Cloth, we're committed to ensuring you're delighted with every purchase. If for any reason a product doesn't meet your expectations, we've streamlined our returns process to make it hassle-free.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Products must be returned within 90 days of the purchase date for a full refund or within 120 days for store credit.
While in transit, Proper Cloth is not responsible for any lost returns. Please retain tracking information when sending back a product.
Refunds are issued only to the original payment method.
Processing time for exchanges, store credit, or refunds typically takes 3-7 business days.
Exchanges are subject to availability of stock and fabric.
FREE 90-DAY RETURNS:
Certain products qualify for "Free 90-Day Returns," meaning no return or restocking fees apply, and you receive the full value of your purchase for refunds or store credit.
Customers in select regions including the US, Canada, Europe, and others receive complimentary return shipping labels.
WEARING AND WASHING ITEMS:
For Stocked Products or Tailored Clothing, items must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered to qualify for refunds, store credit, or exchanges.
Custom Shirts or Casual Pants may be laundered 1-2 times but should not show signs of repeated use for eligibility.
RETURNING GIFTS:
Gift items can be exchanged or returned for store credit by the recipient with proof of purchase.
Refunds for gifted items are issued to the original purchaser's payment method.
FINAL SALE ITEMS:
Products marked as "Final Sale" are not eligible for returns.
RETURNS FOR REMAKES:
Custom products can be returned for refunds or store credit, but opting for a complimentary remake is often more beneficial.
Each customer is entitled to two complimentary remakes per custom product category.
Additional remakes may be approved for lost shipments, manufacturing defects, or dimensions outside accepted tolerances.
REIMBURSEMENT FOR TAILORING:
For Casual Pants and Tailored Clothing, reimbursement (as store credit) is provided for local tailoring expenses within 90 days of the order date.
The amount reimbursed varies by garment type, with a maximum credit of $300 per customer.
A photo of the tailoring receipt is required for reimbursement as store credit.
CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE US AND CANADA:
Refunds or store credit do not include special charges such as customs, duties, fees, or taxes for select regions.
Return shipping labels are provided for specific product types and countries.
LIMITED RETURN AND REMAKE POLICY:
All new customers are subject to our Return and Remake policy.
Customers with an unusually high number of returns or remakes may be temporarily placed on a more restrictive policy, with clear notification from our Customer Service team.
